This week....

 Evan has another abscessed tooth.  Gonna have to be pulled.  Not likely to be pretty:(

 Travis found a recipe for oatmeal cookies on Facebook and he took a snapshot and texted it to me.  I took that as a good indicator that I should actually make the cookies.  So, I did and they were great!

 Got my hair done.  Thank goodness.  I love my Rachel!!!

 These 3 sweet boys make me SO happy.  Beau loves to eat breakfast with his bubbas before they leave for school!

 MOPS this week was fun.  I got a Snapchat lesson.  Amy and I testing it out;)

 We made these elastic hair ties.  I love them.  They supposedly don't leave a crease in your hair.  We will see about that.

 Again, Beau wants to be just like his bubbas.  At church outside the James Bldg looking WAY too big!

 Sherry and I "went to town" on Thursday.  We met at the church and showed up wearing the same thing!!! Ugh.  And, it's not the first time.  Really???

 I got back to MDO to pick up Beau and this is what I found.  It's SO hard to wake a sleeping baby!!

My week in a nutshell:)

Spring Break

 Blake & Evan spent the first half of the week at NaNa and PaPa's house.  On Wednesday Beau and I came up to join them.  We stopped in Fayetteville to spend some time with the Scogin's.  We did a little shopping at Academy.  These 3 had a blast!

 I love how Beau and Whitney can go weeks without seeing each other, and still be SO glad to play together when they get together!  They were being silly in the car and Whitney was being an excellent "mother" :)!

 On Thursday we got up early and headed to Branson with NaNa, Trisha, Malory, Allen, and Austin.  It was SUPER cold with a good chance of snow but we decided to brave Silver Dollar City anyway.  Turned out to be a great move!!  The place was practically empty, and the rain/snow held off until late afternoon.  We were all bundled up and with hand warmers in our pockets and it ended up being a great day!!

 Blake loves this pull up thing by the Barn Swing.  We walked right on the Barn Swing...one of my FAVES!

 We also rode the new Outlaw Run several times.  The line was 5 minutes or less!!  The day before the line had been 2-3 hours.  We totally picked the right day!!  We also tried out the new  pizza place by Outlaw Run.  Tasty!!

 My sweet Beau!  He had SO much fun.  I love that he is old enough to ride the kiddie rides and really look forward to it!

 We rode the carousel about a dozen times.  The big kids also rode Thunderation about a million times.  It was a great day!!

 That night it snowed....A LOT!!  Crazy, but we were nice and cozy at the condo and it didn't faze us!

The next day they had the roads cleared quickly.  We headed to the Tanger to do some shopping.  Beau's "prize" for being a good boy was to ride a ride.  Poor thing, all the big kids piled on with him!

 That afternoon we went over to Aunt Patty and Aunt Jamie's hotel to swim.  They kids had a blast swimming with all their cousins.  Beau did great!

 He was out there in the middle of the big kids and never got scared!!

After swimming, we all loaded up and headed to Springfield to eat at Lamberts!  It was SO good and so fun!  The next morning we did a little more shopping and then headed home.  It was a great little getaway.  We definitely missed Travis, and I certainly DO NOT like having to be the driver in Branson!!  But, a great time none the less!!

Lately....

 Beau has really been in to the body art lately.....Nice.

 He has been feeling pretty puny.  He has been complaining of his tummy hurting and he won't eat.  Not himself at all.  Look at his poor eyes:(

 He finally started feeling better and decided to eat.  We had driven through Chick-fil-a and I handed him his bowl of fruit and nuggets.  When we stopped, he had eaten 3 nuggets and this was all that was left of his fruit....the "curbs".

 Then we went to the mall and he BEGGED for a piece of pizza.  I was so happy he wanted to eat that I bought him pizza, too!

 Beau has been sitting on my bathroom counter while I get ready since he was old enough to climb.  He knows my makeup routine pretty well...maybe too well:)

Glad to have my happy boy back!!

Around here...

 Beau is still pretty obsessed with the cowboy thing.  He found this hat in Evan's closet and fell in love!

 We have had a few quiet nights around here.  Seems like they are few and far between.  I love to see my boys just hanging out.  I especially love to see Evan reading, just because he wants to!!  

We started having a family devotional at night with the boys in January.  It has been SO good.  They ask pretty much every night when we can "read".  We usually wait until after Beau is in bed, because he seems to make a point of being as disruptive as possible while we are trying to do it.  I love that we are reading Gods word together every night and then discussing it.  We have had some good discussions with the boys that probably would not have come up otherwise.  I don't want to miss any opportunities to talk about our faith and relationship with Jesus with them.  I'm so proud of them for being willing to talk about what they believe in and I pray they always will!!

 Blake had a "pre-choral assessment" choir concert last week.  They did great and I love that Blake is really enjoying choir.  They went to Russelleville for their Choral Assessment on Friday and got straight 1's.  That's pretty awesome for a middle school choir!

 Last Tuesday I went with Julie and Sherry to shop early at the Growing Kids Sale.  I've never worked before and never shopped the first day.  It was fun and I got some great stuff!!

 A few of the things I found at the sale for Evan....

 On my way to work my first GKS shift ever:)  Notice my shirt!  I have been doing GKS for 10 years and have NEVER spent enough to the get free shirt until this year;) 

 Beau and I were playing in his room one morning and he got some "babies" out of his closet.  They are Kyle and I's Cabbage Patch dolls from when we were kids.  He changed their diapers and rocked them and put them down for a nap.  So sweet!!

 Tuesday night Beau woke up not feeling well.  He said his tummy hurt.  I braced myself for the throwing up I knew was coming.  It never did.  Thank goodness.  But we spent yesterday and today laying on the couch feeling really puny.  Poor baby:(

 We missed MOPS yesterday, but Amy made the craft for me and dropped it by afterwards.  It was resurrection eggs.  Beau is absolutely loving them!!  We have gone through the Easter story with the eggs about 25 times now.  He can totally tell me the story himself.  This is a GREAT way to teach little ones about the Easter story in a way they can understand.  His favorite part...."He is Alive"!!!!

 I finally got some pictures framed this week that Shannon took in November!!  I'm so happy to get this spot filled!!  Happy day!!

As I am sitting here blogging my phone just "cha-chinged" that I sold something on eBay.  This is a really great example of why I LOVE eBay!!

I bought this toy at the GKS for $5.00.  SWEET!!! 

Now I've got to get back to my sweet puny Beau Beau.  He wants me to lay on the couch with him...and I can't say no!

Baseball Time!!!

 It's baseball season!!  Woo Hoo!!  This year we are trying something TOTALLY different.  Evan has decided to play on a travel team.  He started practicing with them over a month ago and is LOVING it!!  We needed a change, and I think this was a great choice.  Evan is practicing SO hard, and getting a lot of one-on-one coaching which is great.  He's becoming so much more sure of himself, and has improved SO much in a very short amount of time.

We played in our first tournament a couple of weekends ago in Conway.  It was SO cold!!  I've never been so cold in my whole life!!

Evan had an AWESOME game Sunday morning!!  He had one of those amazing jump and dive plays, where he ended up rolling on the ground, and came up with the ball:)  Fun stuff!!

After several crazy good plays, he was absolutely filthy!!  Dirty white baseball pants are a sure sign of a good game!!!  They ended up playing 4 games and came in 5th place in the tournament.  Not bad for our first go at it!

 Thankfully, Nonnie and Poppy offered to keep Beau, since it was going to be SO cold.  He had a great time being the "only" grandchild!  He kept Poppy busy:)

 Last weekend we played in a tournament in Van Buren.  It wasn't nearly as cold, just really rainy.  Beau was SO good!!!

Evan's team ended up with the 1st seed spot after pool play.  Then the games Sunday ended up getting cancelled for rain, so they "officially" got 1st place in that tournament!!

Looking forward to lots more fun baseball this summer!!

Lately....

 A little February summary....

Beau LOVES Play-Doh and he loves to use scissors.  So, cutting Play-Doh with "scissors" is perfect!!

 We finally had a nice warm afternoon and all the boys were out playing!  I LOVE my neighborhood!  Evan Beau rode his bike down to the Drennan's to get in on the action.

 We had 2 basketball games in one night, with an hour in between games.  That made for a lot of time to pass for this little guy.  Luckily, his friend, Jackson Mitchell, bought him his own slushy!!  Happy boy!!

 Beau asked for a white cookie the other day, so I gave him one.  I was busy hanging up laundry and when I came back through I saw this.  He said he needed more cookies because he doesn't like the "curbs".  He only likes the icing in the middle.  Really???

 We got a crazy snow one day!  It starting snowing HUGE flakes and the ground was covered very quickly.  It turned really cold and the snow stuck around for a while.  The boys even got out of school for a day.

 The snow happened to be on the week of our HUGE Pre-Growing Kids Garage Sale.  It was terrible timing!!  But, we forged ahead and had the sale anyway.  In the snow.  Ugh!!!

Blake found this big chunk of ice on top of the fire hydrant.  Pretty cool!

The garage!  We had 11 families participating and it was huge!  Unfortunately, it was also FREEZING cold!!  We nearly froze to death and didn't have nearly as much business as usual.

 Sherry and I bought these awesome 10 foot long racks.  Made us look pretty professional!

 The best buy of the sale??  These boots for Beau!!  He loves them!  Who knew that you can't stay on your horse with your "fast shoes" (aka tennis shoes), you need boots!  Especially when you have  a horse named "Blinkamana".  Yes, that name rolled off his tongue like we really have a horse named that in our backyard.

 On Saturday of the sale, Blake went to the Junior High State Quiz Bowl Tournament!!  I couldn't go because of the sale, but thankfully, Poppy was able to drive the bus.  It was in Conway.  Evan wanted to go too, so they both rode the bus to Conway with Poppy.  The team did great!  The came in 2nd place!!! I'm so proud of Blake for being asked to play on the Junior High Team!!!  

This picture speaks my love language!!!  Nothing makes me happier that some acts of service!!  Evan is a hard working kid.  He's going to make some girl really happy one day:)

 HALLELUIAH!!  I have tried to buy Sudafed fairly recently at the pharmacy and was told they didn't sell it anymore.  But, I went to Walgreens the other day and low and behold....Sudafed!!! Yay!  It's the only thing that really dries up yucky congestion for me so I hated not being able to get it.  Now, I did have to practically sign over my first child to the pharmacy tech  to get it, but, whatever:)  I can breathe!!!!!

 Beau has been being a little stinker lately.  A good example, he colored the door frame and door with crayons!  Really???  He's not 2, he's almost 3 and a 1/2.  I was SO mad!!!  So, I made him clean up very bit of it with a Magic Eraser.  He hated it and cried the whole time.  Hopefully that will be the end of that!!

These 2 sweet friends are nothing but trouble!!  I love that Beau has such a great friend and that his mommy happens to be my great friend!  Works out great for everyone!
