We have a DRIVER!!!

 Yesterday, Blake & I dropped Beau off at MDO and headed to the State Police Headquarters to take his drivers test!  EEK!!  How did we get here already??  He drove us there, then we drove around the area several times first, so he could get the lay of the land;)

 He walked out to the car with the officer and couldn't get the car unlocked.  He is so used to driving the Suburban.  He didn't realize I don't have a clicker for Travis's car.  He finally got them in!

 They were gone less than 10 minutes.  And....HE PASSED!!!!  Yay Blake!!!

 We celebrated with a little Olive Garden for lunch!

 And then to the DMV to get his actual license.  Yep, the real thing!! 

I'm SO proud of Blake!  He is working hard to be a very good driver!!

More Summer!

 We've had a busy week so far!  We went swimming at Sherry's house.  I love this pic of Beau chilled out over by the fountain all by himself:)

 We went to Fayetteville to pick up Blake and let Evan go home with Nana.  We met up with the Scoggins and had lunch and then went out to their house to work on hanging more pictures!  It took us forever, but I think this collage wall turned out so good!

 Then we picked up Lindsey & Courtney from camp and went to get yogurt!  I sure do love all of these kiddos!

 Dottie and the kids were coming through town and we got to meet for lunch!  It was great to see her and catch up!

 We are getting ready to leave for Disney next week and Nonnie has been the applique queen!!  She is still working on several more shirts for all of us!  We just can't convince Travis, Poppy, and Blake to wear Micky.  Their loss;)

 Brian Moy in continuing to do physical therapy for me.  This is the latest technique.  I'm not exactly sure how it works, but I totally trust him.  I feel like my function is getting so much closer to normal. 

I'm very hopeful that eventually for the most part I won't notice that anything is wrong.  Praise the Lord!

Goodbye Snowy....

 Nana & Papa gave us some fresh squash and I was dying to eat some.  So, I randomly just fried a batch of squash one afternoon:)  It was SO good!!

 Beau has been stuck to Evan like glue this week while Blake has been with Nana & Papa.  He even wanted to dress the same!

 I have been trying to find Snowy a new home for a while.  She has developed crazy storm anxiety and also anytime Chaffee is bombing she is crazy.  She tries to dig out of the back yard and scratches the door and barks her head off.  If she is running out of the fence or inside she is totally fine.  So, we decided we had to find her a new home where she was either an inside dog, or where she could run free outside. A great family from our church who lives on several acres decided they wanted her!  It was an answered prayer for everyone for sure!  But, it was still VERY hard to let her go.  We brought her in the day the before she was leaving and said our good-byes.

 She is such a good dog!

 I even got a little teary:(  But, she is going to have another dog friend who looks just like her and is just a little older than her to play with at her new house.  It's gonna be great for her!

 So very thankful that Snowy's new family is loving her!!!

  Evan and I had a little lunch date while Beau was at MDO on Tuesday.  It was his first time to eat at Fuji and I think he is in love!!

 Evan and I had to run over to mom and dad's house and we decided to test out Poppy's security camera on the front porch.  Apparently it works:)

Miranda Lambert...

 Rogers has a new outdoor concert venue called The AMP!  They have had several big name country artists there this summer.  Sharon, Ryan, Amy, Andy, Travis, & I decided to go see Miranda Lambert!  Not my fave, but we figured a good concert to be able to see close by.  We headed up Saturday morning and dropped the boys at Nana & Papa's house. 

Then we went to Farmington to hang out and work on hanging pics in Sharon's new house before the concert!

 We got busy and made some serious progress in the hanging picture department in Sharon's living room:) It was a group effort!  Everyone was impressed with TB's picture hanging skills:)

 Then it was time to get serious, and get ready for the concert!

 We went to Carrabbas for dinner.  It was yummy, but the company was even better!!

 Then we walked on over to The AMP!  We were ready!!

We had a blast!  Miranda left a lot to be desired.  Definitely won't be back to see her, but so glad I got to spend the evening with my favorite peeps!!  We're already planning the next one!

Fasdogs, Cleats, Swimming...

 There is nothing we love more than a good trip to Goody's!!!

 We've been working on getting all of Evan's equipment for football season.  Pretty much everything he had from last year....cleats, shoulder pads, and helmet are all too small:(  But Beau has loved wearing it around the house!!  He especially loves Evan's size 10 cleats!

 Anna's birthday is coming up and Blake wanted to get her something special.  Bless his heart, he shopped at Charming Charlie for her.  I hope she realizes what a big deal that is!!!

 While Blake and I were in Ft. Smith shopping, Beau and Evan built an awesome fort.  The only problem was that they built it in Blake's room:)

 Fasdogs has started!  Evan loves it SO much.  He has to be there at 8:30 every morning so our sleeping in days are over!

 He is also going to Tyler Wilson's football camp in Greenwood this week.  The camp is for quarterbacks and receivers and he has absolutely loved it.  It's been a really well organized camp and he has truly learned a lot!  Thankful for all the good football role models from Greenwood that came together to put this camp on!

 Beau has really been missing Nonnie and Poppy while they are gone on their long trip out west.  So, he write them a little letter.  His first time to write his whole name!!

 And, he is SO excited!  Mrs. Sherry gave him some cleats that are much closer to his size.  He has worn them everywhere!!

 Even to LaFiesta!!

 He dressed himself one day to go outside and ride his bike.  The fleece pullover may have been a bit much for the 90 degree weather.  Notice:  the cleats!

 We have been swimming a lot at the Drennan's this summer.  They have a beautiful new pool and we have SO enjoyed getting to swim in it!!  Beau, Evan, and Deacon all chillin'.

The summer is flying by, but we are trying to have as much fun as possible in this short summer!
