Happy Easter!!

After church, we had Easter dinner at our house.  It was SO nice.  We had a houseful...everyone that was at church plus Granny and GaGa.  It was very overcast and started sprinkling as soon as we got home.  I was determined to get a few outside shots anyway:)

 This another pic that isn't great, but it is Georgia's first Easter and all the grandkids together!!

 The only family pic from the whole day and it's blurry and Blake's eyes are closed.  Oh well, at least we were together!!

 My sweet Beau-Beau.  He is wearing a smocked outfit that my mom made for my brother, Kyle, when he was Beau's age.  I just LOVE it!!  There is nothing cuter than a little boy in a sweet smocked outfit.  Evan took one look at him and said "Mom, why does Beau look like a girl?".  Whatever, I hated to tell him, but he wore it, too:)

 Our sweet baby Georgia.  It's so much fun to have a baby around that isn't your own.  I loved holding her and loving on her, and knowing that my responsibilities ended there:)

 My GaGa got to come for dinner and I think that was the very best part of the day.  He has never been to my house and I LOVED that he got to be here for Easter.  I'm so mad this is blurry, but it is still precious to me!  Dad has a picture of all of us with GaGa.  I'll post it later when I get it.

 By the end of the afternoon, he was stripped down to his diaper.  I looked down and the diaper was coming off too:)

 The boys made quite a haul!!  We have enough Easter bunnys for the whole town of Greenwood!!

This was a perfect day!  Excellent church service celebrating our Risen Lord. Then, awesome family time and great food!  I did cheat though, thanks to Carla Gregory for the bulk of our Easter dinner:).  I've decided that at this stage in our lives, it is much easier for us to just have our family gatherings at our house.  This one was perfect!!

Easter morning

The boys set their Easter baskets out on Saturday night.  We didn't get home until about 11:00 so Beau went straight to bed.  So, the boys put his basket out for him also.

The Easter bunny came!!  Notice that Beau got a broom and dust pan.  That child just can't get enough cleaning supplies:)

Evan was pretty excited about his water shooter.  It was a really early morning after a really late night, so everyone was moving a little slow.

Beau quickly discovered that his eggs had fruit snacks inside! 

He spent the rest of the day opening every plastic egg he could find, so sure that he would find more fruit snacks!

Evan had a lot of fun looking for eggs.  Some of them had Pizza Warehouse tokens in them and the competitive side of Ev really came out!!  He was determined to get more tokens than Blake!

Blake was straight out of bed in his underwear so I tried to find some pics that were a 1little more discrete;)

 He was getting serious!! 

We had a fun morning, even if we were a little rushed.  Our Easter service at the PAC started at 9:00 and we had to drop Beau off at the nursery at the church before.  We made it and had a full aisle!!  It was Travis, me, Blake, Evan, NaNa, PaPa, Nonnie, Poppy, Kyle, Amy, Judy, and Georgia.  Pefect!!

Easter Eggs

My boys LOVE to dye Easter eggs.  It is a fun tradition that we have done the same way forever.  Nonnie always comes over for the big event!

Beau & Ev...

I asked Evan to keep Beau busy while I was doing something the other night and I realized that for several minutes I hadn't heard anything...which is pretty unusual.  I walked back to Beau's room and found this:

 Beau was squeeling and Evan was cracking up and that just added to fuel to Beau's fire!!

I love to see my big boys loving their baby brother!!  Makes this momma's heart smile!!!

Beau & "Georgie"

Yesterday Amy and Georgia came over to play.  I hadn't seen Georgia in WAY too long.  She has grown a ton and I had so much fun just holding her and watching her perform:)

She has the sweetest smile!

Beau wasn't too sure what to think of her.  I kept trying to get him to say Georgia and all of the sudden he said "Geor-gie".  It was SO cute.  Amy and I weren't convinced at first, but he kept saying it over and over!! 

We went to lunch at Pizza Barn and Beau was pretty mesmerized by her, even though she was asleep:)

After lunch we came home and played on the driveway for a while.  Beau tried to show off for Georgia but she slept through it all!

His new thing is, anytime he sees a camera, he yells "cheese" and gets the goofiest grin on his face.  Here it is...

I'm so glad Beau is going to have a cousin to play with as he grows up.  I never had a cousin close by to really get to know, but I have a feeling Beau and Georgia will know each other well!!!
