Mom has been super busy sewing lately.  She made us both these adorable throw blankets.  I absolutely love mine!!

Sherry and I went to  lunch together at LaFiesta.....wearing matching shirts:)  It's bound to happen at some point when you do all your shopping together!!

Hayden came over to play the other morning.  They play together so well, until they don't:)  Their play dates always consist of a little fighting and apologizing, but they love each other through it all!

Friday night we loaded up and went to Van Buren to watch the Bulldogs play!  Jonathan went with us.  I love to see my car loaded up with kiddos!

I was so glad the Drennan's were there also!  It's so much more fun to watch a football game with a friend!!

Evan's Pittbull game was great!  Evan scored his first official touchdown!!  Another victory for the 6th Grade Gray team!!  I love those photobombers, too!!

The two sweetest lunch dates ever....

On Sunday afternoon, Blake and Annah went on a date to the movies.  I was just the chauffeur.  We went to Braums to get ice cream afterwards.  They just had to deal with me sitting with them at Braums:)

And while I was chauffeuring the love birds around, Travis was at home doing LOTS of laundry!

MOPS

 Sharon came down Wednesday to be the guest speaker at MOPS.  I have retired from MOPS but was glad to go back to visit and hear Sharon speak.

 She talked about her journey with anxiety and how it has affected her life and how God has helped and and matured her through it.  I've heard her say it all before, but it was still very encouraging!!  And, all my peeps were there!!  It was great to be together.  And of course, we went to LaFiesta afterwards for lunch.  Great times with my best friends!  I couldn't do life with them!!

 After lunch Sharon and Whitney came over to play for a few minutes before they had to  head back home.  These 2...I don't even know what to say.  They just love each other and play so well together.  They disappeared into Beau's room and came out like this!!  So cute!

This was a happy, happy day!!

National Jr. Honor Society Induction

 Tuesday night we got to watch Blake be inducted into the National Junior Honor Society.  It was an honor and we were so proud of him!

First Cotillion 2014

 The first Cotillion event of the season was September 21.  Evan was so thrilled to be there.  You can tell by the sweet smile in his picture.  Maybe not:)

Birthday, Bearcats, and Football...

 I managed to get away and run up to Fayetteville a couple of days before Sharon's birthday to celebrate!  It was SO good to just lay eyes on her:)  We went to Prairie Grove to shop a little and had some Mexican for lunch.  What we really wanted to do was just sit on her couch and catch up....so we did!  Time went way to fast, but I was so glad we got to celebrate for a few hours!!

 Beau and Hayden had their first sleepover at Hayden's house on Friday night.  They went to the Booneville Bearcat football game to cheer on Hayden's Uncle James.  He had an absolute blast!!

 He totally came home a Bearcat fan:))  They were so worn out by the time they got home they both slept all night.  First sleepover a success!!

 I found this amazing vintage Levis jacket at a garage sale for $1.00.  So glad to have a willing model:)  I sold it a couple of days later for $20.00:)))

 Nonnie has been busy sewing some super cute pumpkin shirts for the grandkids.  SO, SO cute!!!

 Evan is absolutely loving football!!  They had their first victory over Van Buren on Saturday night.  It's been so fun to see him truly embrace his position as quarterback.  I love to see the leader in him coming out.  He is also the kicker, so he stays pretty busy!  His coaches have also been great.  I love this pic of Coach Bryant talking to Evan at halftime.  Great year so far!!

Fall & more...

 Evan is our work horse.  He noticed that Marvin had grass out in front of his house from mowing, so he went out and cleaned it up for him:)

 We got this sweet note in the mail from Blake's science teacher, Mr. Roconi.  He just wanted to let us know what a great student Blake was and that he has a 102% in science!!  Blake does LOVE science.  I'm so proud of him!!

I absolutely love fall decor!  This was after I got all my fall stuff laid out all over my kitchen.  Eeeek.

 Beau decided to do a little decorating also.  He started digging through a drawer and setting things out.  Oh my!!

Lately...

It's Growing Kids time again!  Sherry and I went to shop at the worker preview sale with all the  other crazies in Ft. Smith!  I got some pretty great stuff.  Both for the boys and for eBay:)

Evan's football team went to see "When the Game Stands Tall" at the movies.  He said it was great!

This is the reason I don't always sleep well.  Occasionally he will sneak in during the night.  By morning our bed looks like this:)

Blake got invited to join the National Junior Honor Society.  We are SO proud!!

Beau has become quite the musician.  He loves to play "songs" on the recorder and the harmonica.  He has also decided to start picking out his clothes himself.  He was SO proud of this outfit.  The 3rd time around I'm just going with it.  There are bigger battles than clothes!

Hair day!  Love my Rachel and that she has been doing my hair since I was pregnant with Evan!

Beau and I went to vote early for the school millage.  We need it to pass for lots of reasons.  Of course we support our schools and want them to be able to expand, +  the project will be done my MAHG.  So, we have LOTS of reasons to vote YES!!

East Hills had "Donuts with Dads" on Friday morning.  Funny, Evan just couldn't fit in time to eat breakfast with me at school, but on dad day, he could manage:))  I'm glad he loves his daddy!!  And I am so proud that he is willing to work as an ambassador at school.

I had a MAJOR scare one day.  It had been raining, and I opened the door to go out in the garage, and saw this HUGE creature scittering across the garage.  It had a hard shell, like a little lobster.  I totally freaked and ran back inside.  I got myself together and decided I had to go out and kill it.  So, I opened the garage door again and it was no where to be found!!  I very carefully looked all over and couldn't find it.  I called Travis and described it to him and he thought it sounded like a huge scorpion.  I was TOTALLY freaked out!!  

When Evan got home from school I told him about it and he said he would go out and help me try to find it.  He came out of his room in his boots and carrying his machete!!  HA!  So, we went out and looked all over the garage.  NO sign of "scorpio-lobster".  When Travis came home he looked too.  We were all pretty freaked out.

The next day we came home and opened the garage and Travis thought he saw something.  Turns out we ran over "it" on our way out of the garage.  And "it"" turned out to be a crawdad.  I've never been SO relieved!!  Good bye "scorpio-lobster"!!!

We all went to the home Greenwood game Friday night.  There was a big tailgate party before hand to promote the millage vote.  Evan had to work as an ambassador, so we wall went.  It was misting and very wet.  But by the time the game started, it had quit raining.  It ended up being pretty great football weather!!

Beau LOVES the bands!!  As long as there is a band playing, he is happy!

After the game, we were taking Annah home, so we decided to stop at Geno's for ice cream!
