Razorback Football Camp

On June 13, Evan went to a Razorback Football Camp in Fayetteville.  We rode up with the Drennan's.  It was SO fun!!

It was held on the Razorback football field and in the practice facility.  It was run by the Razorbackk coaches and players.  How fun to get to actually play on the real Razorback field!!

It was such a fun day!  Weather was perfect!  Granted, he probably didn't learn too terribly much about football in those 3 hours, but just the experience was SO worth it!  Glad we did it!

Baseball!

 We are deep into the middle of baseball season.  Evan is playing kid pitch and it is SO different.  We are at the ball fields 2 or 3 nights every week.  His games last 1 hour and 40 minutes.  So, it makes for a long evening (especially when the game doesn't start until 7:30).  Beau has actually done really good.  He has only gotten really cranky a couple of times.

Evan is playing catcher a lot this year, which is a new position for him.  He has caught on really fast and is doing a great job!!  I know he gets SO hot, but he says he loves it.

 He has been in a batting slump.  Super frustrating for him.  But, he's a really good watcher and has only struck out a couple of times.  I call him my "professional walker".    Last night he got his 2nd hit of the season and it was as home run!!! I was SO happy for him!!!

Random Catch-up

 A quick random catch up from pictures off my phone!

Sharon came down one day and we met at the mall to play for a little bit.  These 2 miss each other so much!!!  I mean, how sweet is this??

 We had a HUGE garage sale to raise money for our mission trip to Nicaragua.  We cleaned out a big storage building and had the sale at the actual storage building site.  It was crazy and busy but we did really well!

 Beau's current obsession is peeling crayons.  He will sit for a VERY long time as long as he has crayons to peel.  He's very meticulous and wants a bowl to put all the trash in.  I am happy to go along with that if it keeps him still through a whole ballgame!

 Amy and Georgia came to a game one night and Blake had a blast with Georgia!  I think she likes him!

 This picture just makes me sad:(  It was our going away dinner for Dottie.  Why do all my friends have to move?  I already miss her so much!!

 We walked out of Shogun and this sweet ride was sitting outside.  We decided to "pretend" it was ours for a minute;)

Our last night of Wednesday night Bible Study we had a little going away party for Kim and Dottie.  Seriously.....why do all my friends move???

We had my birthday dinner at mom and dad's the night after we got back from Branson.  We had my traditional tacos and guacamole meal.  It's what I've been having for my birthday since I was little:)  I also requested homemade ice cream and strawberries instead of cake for dessert.  YUMMY!!!

 I got some great presents!  Mom and dad got me the cutest thirty-one bag and a gift certificate for a massage or facial.  Amy, Kyle, and Georgia got me a gift card to Charming Charlie, and Travis and the boys gave me a gift card to Sonic.  Perfect!!

That's my quick wrap up.  Maybe I'll stay better caught up now!

Branson!!

 We left on our annual Bartlett Family Memorial Day weekend trip to Branson on Friday morning.  I think this was our best trip ever.  So fun!  We stayed in a cabin just a couple of minutes from Silver Dollar City.  It was amazing!!

 The cabin had 4 bedrooms and bathrooms, all with king size beds.  It was SO comfortable.  Check out Beau's little "cot" over in the corner.  Mom found it at Wal-Mart and it is working perfectly for when we are away from home!!

 This is a view from the upstairs balcony.  The kids had a blast playing baseball on the Wii.  Evan ended up owing Malory some money after he got a little cocky and she smeared him:)

 We were so close to SDC that we decided instead of spending one crazy hot day all day there, we would just go over in the afternoons.  Perfect!  NaNa dropped off everyone except her, PaPa, and Beau the first afternoon.  We literally just walked on every ride.  It was SO nice.  With season passes there is no guilt about just going for a little bit:)  Here are the big kids getting ready for American Plunge!

 Blake and Evan just can't get enough of Wildfire!  I'll bet they rode it 10 times during our trip.  You can see them on the 3rd row.  Evan has his hands in the air!

 Beau chilling out one morning in the recliner.  NaNa made a big breakfast almost every morning.  Travis has to enjoy that when he is with his momma, because I'm not a breakfast cooker!  I dislike mornings too much for that:)

 NaNa went one afternoon and she got talked into riding the frogs.  I love the big rides, but those little kid rides make me sick!  Beau wasn't so sure, but afterwards all he did was talk about it. Trisha, Malory, Beau, and I also rode the tea cups.  He LOVED that one!

 One day we decided to ride the ducks.  We had never done the one that leaves from Branson Landing.  It was great!  Beau loved the "duck bus"!  He also LOVED his quacker!!

 When we launched into the water the driver told us we might get "a little wet".  Ha!  We were SOAKED to the bone!  I was so wet my mascara was running down my face.  Thankfully it was really hot outside!

 After the duck ride we went to eat at Florentina's for my birthday.  It was SO good!  I love that we always have a good excuse to eat something good on this trip:)

The cabins had an amazing pool area.  Beau swam a lot!  One day Travis and I took the big boys to White Water (Malory was sick) and Beau got to go swimming with NaNa. 

The pool had these little platform areas on the corners that were pefect for Beau to play on!

 The kids also loved the hot tub.  Even Beau liked the "hot" pool.

 The last night NaNa took Blake, Evan, and Malory to the Ripley's Believe it Or Not Museum.  They all liked it, but Blake was in heaven!  It was right up his alley!  He took lots of pictures and has been talking about it every since.
