St. Louis ~ Part 2

Saturday morning we got up and headed to the tournament.  It was in a huge gym at the University of Missouri.  Blake and Mason were READY!!
This was most of the students in the under 18 category bowing in.  There were a LOT of kids competing!!
This is Blake getting ready to do his Blue Belt form for the judges.  He did AMAZING!!
The kids lined up were all the blue belts waiting for the results of the forms competition.
Blake looking a little nervous:)
He got 2nd place!  Woo Hoo!!
Here he is on the stand after getting his medal.  I was SO proud of him.  The competition was stiff and he totally rocked it!
Here are Benji, Addison, Mason, and Blake with their medals.  They made me so proud to be from the Greenwood Kuk Sool Won school.
Mason got 3rd place in sparring and Blake got 2nd place in forms.  These boys worked so hard!
Blake looking so handsome!
After the tournament we headed back downtown with the Moy's and Baldwin's for dinner.  We ate at the Old Spaghetti Factory.  YUM!!  The restaurant is in the basement of an old building and we had NO idea it was storming while we were eating.  It turned out that while we were there, a tent blew down a couple of blocks away and killed one person and injured a lot of people.  It was pretty scary.

The kids all got balloon animals from a guy at the restaurant;)
We got back to the hotel and the kids got ready to go swimming.  By the time we got back down to the lobby it was storming like crazy again.  We ended up being under a tornado warning.  Evan had to run out and get some hail.
We ended up in a banquet room and the kids were crammed under a table.  CRAZY!!!

We had to crash a wedding in the process.  The Indian people who were having the wedding were less than thrilled:)

It finally quit storming and the kids got to swim for about 10 minutes.  Then the next wave hit.  It was a crazy, but fun night!  We got up the next morning and headed home.

We had a great weekend, missed Beau like crazy, and can't wait to do it again!
