St. Louis ~ Part 1

 We spent the weekend in St. Louis a couple of weekends ago for Blake's regional Kuk Sool Won tournament.  We made it into a mini-vacation and had a blast!  We headed out Thursday after school.  We drove to Springdale and dropped Beau off at Nana and PaPa's.  Then we headed to Springfield to spend the night.  We met the Baldwin's at Lambert's and had an amazing meal!!!  Then we headed to Bass Pro for a little sight-seeing:)  The boys had a blast!

 The next morning we got up and headed to St. Louis.  Our first arch sighting!!

I have to say that traveling long distances without Beau was nice!  We headed to the arch first like good tourists:)  This is a pic of the stairs leading up to the arch.

We spent a good part of the afternoon walking around and then going up in the arch.  This is a pic from the top.

 We checked into the hotel, then headed downtown for dinner.  We parked near the stadium and walked to the restaurant.  Here are the boys in front of the stadium!

We ate at a restaurant called Joe Bucks and we all said it was the best meal we had ever eaten:)  We were starving, but it still was really good!  We had a little pre-teen attitude going on for a few minutes at dinner.

 The most amazing homemade chips and french onion dip.  I can't tell you how good!!

 Travis and I.  It was SO nice to just sit back and enjoy the big boys without Beau running around like a wild child.  We missed him like crazy, but this was definitely not a trip for toddlers!

After the game we headed back to the hotel to get some sleep before the big event the next morning!
