Christmas Decor

 I enjoyed my Christmas decor this year more than ever!  So, I decided to take a few pics before I took it down, so I could remember how it looked this year:)

 The mantle minus 3 stockings, since this was after Santa came:)

 I got my Snow Babies out for the first time in years.  They bring back so many happy memories of when Travis and I were first married!

 The lights aren't even on in this picture, but I LOVE this tree!!

 Evan and Beau both wanted trees in their rooms this year.  Blake just didn't have a place to put one.

And now, Christmas is coming down.  But we sure enjoyed it a lot this year!!!

Branson after Christmas!

 We decided to take a quick trip to Branson the day after Christmas!  We stopped in Springdale and picked Nana up to go with us:)  We went straight to Silver Dollar City when we got there.  It was a good day to be there!  The lines were fairly short at first so the boys got to ride some big rides pretty quickly.  We watched a Frosty the Snowman Show that Beau loved!  We had fun just looking at the Christmas lights and riding a few things.

 On our way out, Evan adjusted the Texas Longhorns display in the gift shop just a little bit:)  Ha!

 We stayed at the Hilton Convention Center across the street from Branson Landing.  Our room was awesome and the view was amazing!!

 We went down to the White River Fish House for dinner.  It was absolutely delicious!

 Then we went to the Tanger Outlet Mall and shopped for a little bit, then stopped by Andy's for some ice cream!

 The next day we went to the Showboat Branson Belle.  We had never been before and it was SO fun!  The food was great and the show was good, also!!

 It was WAY bigger than I expected!

 During intermission we went exploring on the boat.  It was so cold!!

 I think our lips were blue:)

 The view was beautiful!  We decided we should come do it again when it was warm outside!

We had a very fun, quick trip!  Sometimes those are the very best!

Christmas Day!

Beau was the first up on Christmas morning!  He ran in our room and begged us to get up:)  Then he went and woke up Blake and Evan!  So exciting to see what Santa brought in their stockings:)

Santa  brought toys, too!!  Beau was SO excited about his scooter.  Blake got a camo XBOX One controller and Evan got a new basketball goal to put in his room.

Santa loved his cookies, and Santa and Buddy & Chippy even left a little note for Beau:)

Blake got a pump and balloons and Beau was thrilled that he can make him balloon animals now!

Nana & Papa came over to see what Santa brought!

Then we headed over to Nonnie and Poppy's house to open presents.  Carly was right in the middle of all the fun!

 Travis and I opening our special present Beau made us at Mrs. Baker's.  I have 2 others JUST like it in the closet from Blake and Evan:)

 Blake got his own razor.  Woo Hoo!

 And Evan got an iPhone!!!  He was SO excited!  Speechless was more like it!!

 We got pics of everyone except Poppy.  Sometimes it stinks to be the photographer:(

 And Beau got his own iPad mini!!!

The scooter was definitely the best present of all!

We spent the rest of the day just laying around, napping, and eating:)  We finished off the night with our annual viewing of "Christmas Vacation".  A perfect Christmas day!!

Christmas Eve!!

 We went to Christmas Eve service at the PAC at 4:00.  Blake and I went early to help take pictures for families in the foyer.  He is so handsome!

 We tried to get a family pic before the service started, but Beau would not cooperate!  This was as close as we got:)

 Christmas Eve service is the perfect time to slow down and really think about what we are celebrating at Christmas.  Brother Ronnie's message was centered around the star that guided the shepherds and that still guides us.  Beau wanted to go up and listen, but didn't want to go alone, so Evan went with him:)  I think it looked beautiful!

 Using LED candlelight for Silent Night isn't quite the same, but still very pretty!

 After the service, I ran into Amy!  Yay!!

 After the service, we tried again, and finally got a good family pic!

 I was so proud of the boys for packing the car so carefully...not one bow got squished!!

 Nana, Papa, and Granny came over to join us for Christmas Eve dinner. 

 It was perfect!  We had prime rib, asparagus bundles, spinach mashed potatoes, homemade rolls, salad, pecan pie, coconut sour cream pound cake, and slushy punch!!

 After we got home, Beau went out to sprinkle his reindeer food on the grass.  Evan was SO worked up...he ran out on the driveway in his underwear....yelling "CaCaw, CaCaw".  It was classic!!

 After that, we went inside and all sat on the couch while Travis read the Christmas story to us out of the Bible.  Then we got cookies and milk ready for Santa.

 Beau was so tired, it didn't take long for him to fall asleep!  

Santa came and left filled stockings!!

 And surprises for everyone!!!

What a perfect day!  Merry Christmas!!!
