Georgia Time!!

 We had so much fun with Kyle, Amy, & Georgia!  I loved getting to watch the boys play with her!  We loaded up one day and headed to Ft. Smith.  Two sweet kiddos in my car;)

 We met Nonnie for lunch at Marketplace.  Chocolate Mess...YUM!!

 One evening we went over to the Danie's house to swim.  It was SO fun!!  Georgia loved swimming!

 BTW, this is the child who REFUSED to even put a toe in the water at swimming lessons the day before.  UGH!!  SO Frustrating!!

 Georgia didn't want to stay on the floatie, she wanted out with Beau;)

One night we took Blake and Evan to a Kuk Sool swimming party, and Kyle and Amy went to a movie, so Nonnie and Poppy took care of Beau and Georgia.  They look SO big!!

 Nonnie has a water play tub she keeps on the back porch.  By the end of the night, they were both in it, in their clothes!

 Georgia got really obsessed with a pair of Beau's flip flops, so I HAD to get her her first pair.  LOVE those sweet pink flip flops!!!  She LOVED them and didn't want to take them off:)

 We had such a good visit.  It was VERY hard to see them leave:(

Thankful for the time we got to spend together!!

Cousin Pics!!

Let me just start out this post by saying...Shannon Walker is a miracle worker!!!  Georgia was in town, so mom had booked a session with Shannon to get some pics made of her, and also wanted to get a couple of her and Beau together.  Everything started out great!  Beau tried on the smocked outfit that mom my had made for Kyle MANY years ago:)

 We got in the car headed for Hartford and this happened.....not good.

 But Georgia was happy and ready to go!

 Well, needless to say, after about 45 minutes of desperately trying to get either of them to sit, stand, walk, pose....anything....for a decent picture, we just gave up.  They both whined, cried, screamed, pouted, and fussed the whole time!!!  

But, as soon as we walk across the street to the playground they become angelic:)

 At this point I just wanted to beat them both!!!  They were being SO good and HAPPY!!  Really....could you not have been this way 10 minutes before????

 So, anyway, these pics are true miracles and results of Shannon's amazing talent!!

 So, bless sweet Shannon's heart, she came to "town" and tried again with Georgia later in the week.  And, oh my goodness....these are precious!!!!

State Warm-Up Victory!!!

 The River Valley Bulldogs played in a State Warm-Up Tournament at the Boys & Girls Club in Greenwood on June 22 & 23.  It is always nice to be able to play in town!!  They played awesome and WON the tournament!!!

Redneck Swimming Pool :)

 Evan went to a swim party after his baseball games on Saturday and Beau was SO sad that he couldn't go.  When Evan got home Beau kept begging to go swimming, so Evan took him outside and made it happen:)

Nothing beats a recycle bin, with the holes covered in duck tape!!

 Evan even got the sprinkler out and added a "water feature"!!

I love the bond these 2 have.  Evan takes care of Beau and Beau adores Evan.  I'm so thankful for their sweet relationship!!

Monster's University!

 The Townsend's came to town on Friday and we met them at Geno's for lunch.  It was great to get to catch up for a little bit!  Jake and Gray were going to play golf, and since Dottie and Peyton didn't have plans, we invited them to go to the movies with us.  

It was Beau's first movie since he was a baby, so I was a little nervous.  We stopped and bought lots of candy beforehand...hoping that would keep him entertained!

Love these 2 kiddos!  They would never admit it, but I think they really enjoyed seeing each other:)

The Drennan's ended up being there also, so we had quite a crew.  Between all the candy AND popcorn, Beau almost lasted through the previews before he got squirmy:)  He spent most of the movie bouncing back and forth between all of us, and in the end, playing on my phone.  BUT, we made it without having to leave!  A victory in my book!

It was a fun afternoon with friends, and we all enjoyed it!

Monkey House

 FBC Greenwood had a church-wide Monkey House night on Wednesday night.  I mentioned it to Sharon, and Ryan happened to be coming down that night for a business dinner, so she and the girls just came with him!

Beau and Whitney are always SO happy to get to play together.  They took off into this bounce-around and didn't look back!

I was thrilled to get to spend a little "real" time with Sharon.  It was a super fun, much needed evening together!!

What's Up?

 My mom told the boys that they couldn't go on the "Big Trip" until they read at least 2 books about one of the places they would be going.  So, Ev finally broke down and checked some out at the library.  He has yet to read them.....:)

 Beau has been busy completely un-assembling his screw board.  It's naked!!

 At summer MDO they have a project to raise money for an orphanage.  They are supposed to do chores at home and earn quarters and put them in their quarter holder.  Beau has really taken it to heart.  He has been helping do "chores" to earn money!!

 He says he is helping the kids that don't have a home get a new one....melt my heart!

 A great garage sale find!!  A BRAND NEW Polo in Travis's size for $5!!  Woo Hoo!!!

 Evan had a baseball scrimmage and Beau had to get all his "gear" on!
