Beau ~ 10 Months

My sweet Beau baby, you are 10 months old!!  Where, oh where, has the time gone.  You are a mover and a shaker these days.  The best word to describe you right now is BUSY!!

You are obsessed with everything you should stay out of.  You LOVE to play in the trash, splash in the potty water, chew the soap, eat the dog food...Whatever we don't want you into is where you are!!

Just look at your smile:)  It screams STINKER!!!!

~ You still wear either 6-12 mo, 9 mo., or 12 mo. clothes.

~You don't really wear shoes, but on the rare occasion that you do, they are size 2.

~ You LOVE to eat.  The only baby food you still eat is jar cereal for breakfast.  The rest of the time you are eating table food.  You love avocado, yogurt, peaches, pears, mandarin oranges, carrots, and peas.  You don't care for meat at all.

~You are still nursing 4-5 times a day.  You have taken a couple of bottles this month.  Only about 4oz. at a time, but enough to keep you from starving while I'm gone :)

~ You still wear a size 3 diaper.

~You have some crazy hair.  You have some really long pieces that fall in front of your ears and make you look pretty scraggly.  I'm debating on getting you a little trim around the ears.

~You are cruising around everywhere.  You have a walking toy that you push all over the place.  I don't really think you are close to actually walking yet, but you are getting some good practice.

You babble constantly!  You say DaDa, Bubba, and something that sounds kinda like "baby".   You have starting trying to "mimic" what we say to you.  It's all still gibberish, but SO stinkin' cute!!

~You are difinitely recognzing people now.  When your daddy comes in the door you get all excited and bounce around or crawl straight to him.  Same thing when your grandparents come in!  You also get pretty happy when your brothers come in after school!!

~You moved into your big boy car seat this month.  It's a Britax Marathon and will be your car seat until you are out of a booster!  We are planning to keep you rear-facing for quite a while.  The rear-facing limit on your new seat is 40 pounds.

~You started Mother's Day Out 1 day/week this month.  It has been such a blessing to me, and I think you are enjoying it, too.  There are 2 other kids in your class, and Whitney is one of them:)

~You are still waking up once during the night to eat.  I know it's my fault, I'm just not ready to do what it's gonna take to stop it!  Otherwise, you are a great sleeper.

~You nap in the mornings from around 9:00 until 11:00.  Then in the afternoon you go down around 2:30 and sleep until 3:30 or 4:00.

You have developed such a sweet personality.  You continue to bring such joy to our lives.  You are our sweet little blessing we never knew we were missing!!  We love you and can't wait to see what the next month brings!!!
