Monster's University!

 The Townsend's came to town on Friday and we met them at Geno's for lunch.  It was great to get to catch up for a little bit!  Jake and Gray were going to play golf, and since Dottie and Peyton didn't have plans, we invited them to go to the movies with us.  

It was Beau's first movie since he was a baby, so I was a little nervous.  We stopped and bought lots of candy beforehand...hoping that would keep him entertained!

The Drennan's ended up being there also, so we had quite a crew.  Between all the candy AND popcorn, Beau almost lasted through the previews before he got squirmy:)  He spent most of the movie bouncing back and forth between all of us, and in the end, playing on my phone.  BUT, we made it without having to leave!  A victory in my book!

It was a fun afternoon with friends, and we all enjoyed it!

Monkey House

 FBC Greenwood had a church-wide Monkey House night on Wednesday night.  I mentioned it to Sharon, and Ryan happened to be coming down that night for a business dinner, so she and the girls just came with him!

Beau and Whitney are always SO happy to get to play together.  They took off into this bounce-around and didn't look back!

I was thrilled to get to spend a little "real" time with Sharon.  It was a super fun, much needed evening together!!

What's Up?

 My mom told the boys that they couldn't go on the "Big Trip" until they read at least 2 books about one of the places they would be going.  So, Ev finally broke down and checked some out at the library.  He has yet to read them.....:)

 Beau has been busy completely un-assembling his screw board.  It's naked!!

 At summer MDO they have a project to raise money for an orphanage.  They are supposed to do chores at home and earn quarters and put them in their quarter holder.  Beau has really taken it to heart.  He has been helping do "chores" to earn money!!

 He says he is helping the kids that don't have a home get a new one....melt my heart!

 A great garage sale find!!  A BRAND NEW Polo in Travis's size for $5!!  Woo Hoo!!!

 Evan had a baseball scrimmage and Beau had to get all his "gear" on!

Father's Day!

 We had a pretty laid back Father's Day.  Travis and I got back from Little Rock late Sunday afternoon and my parents (who had been keeping the kids) were worn out!  Dad didn't want to go eat or anything.  So, we just gave him his gift and came home.

Later, we decided to go to Geno's for dinner:).  Blake is still at camp, so it was just the 4 of us.  These silly boys tried on daddy's hard hats on the way!

 I love these boys SO much.  Just wish Blake could have been here, too.  We gave Travis a couple of Razorback Tervis tumblers and I think he liked them:). 

Sometime's its nice to just be laid back and relaxed!  Happy Father's Day Travis!

Brian & Amber's Wedding

 Travis and I went to Little Rock this past weekend for Brian & Amber's wedding.  Travis worked with Brian for several years at MAHG and Brian asked him to be his best man.  We headed down Friday afternoon. 

It's fun to check into a hotel for a wedding and have a care package waiting for you;)

 We got ready and headed out to the rehearsal.  (The sun was bright, nice squint:)

 The rehearsal dinner was at the Crown Plaza where we were staying.

The next morning Travis and I slept in, which was heaven, and then headed out for some lunch.  We had a great time just hanging out together.  I love that we both love to eat good food:)  P.F. Changs for lunch was perfect!

 After lunch we headed toward the mall, but I saw a Goodwill store on the way.  My sweet husband wheeled in and went in to shop with me.  I even got him in on the search at one point! I found some great eBay treasures!

 We made it to the mall and did a little shopping.  Travis had to be at the church at 3:30 for pictures, so I dropped him off and headed back to the hotel.  I couldn't resist the TCBY I found on the way back.  You just can't beat White Chocolate Mousse in a waffle cone!!

 Since we weren't together before the wedding, a selfie of myself was the best I could do!

 The wedding was very nice.  Then we headed to the reception at the Pavillion in the Park.  It was SO pretty!  Not sure what I was pointing at??

 I love this!!  We had a great time just talking and dancing at the wedding.

 Afterwards we were starving so we drove through Mexico Chiquito on the way back to the hotel.  Nothing like a taco picnic on the hotel bed:)

 I was so glad we got to get away together.  Makes me realize all over again just how much I love that man of mine!!

Springdale & Softball

 Last Thursday the boys and I decided to head up to Springdale to watch Malory's last softball game.  We had a fun drive...Beau actually let us listen to music and we all sang all the way there;)

 We met Nana, Trisha, Malory, and Austin and went to Mad Pizza for lunch.  Then we decided to check out the new Goodwill across the street.  It was pretty awesome!

 Thanks to Nana for taking the kids home so Trisha and I could shop for a while longer!

 Malory played great!  I really enjoyed getting to see her play.  Her dad and Mimi were there with her little dog named Ginger and Beau fell in love with her:)  These 2 love each other so much!!

Baseball Camp

 Evan went to Greenwood Baseball Camp last week.  He moved up to the older age group this year and went from 11:30-1:30.  He absolutely loved it!!  Lots more individual instruction in the older division for sure!

 On the last day they have different competitions and Evan won Outfield Defensive Champion for ages 11 and under!  He plays outfield so this was a good confirmation that he knows what he is doing and does it well!!

Boy can catch a pop fly!!!
