Halloween!

 We had a great Halloween night!  Since it fell on a Wednesday (school night) we had to get an early start.  The boys came home from school and started getting ready.  Beau couldn't wait to get his "ductor" costume on.  Not sure this is actually a conductor costume, maybe more like a train engineer but we went with it!

 We always go see Granny first!  She had a big bag of Lemon Heads for all 3 boys.  SO sweet!  She keeps a jar of lemon heads at her house and they all always make a bee line to them, so she got them lots of their own!

 Then we had to make our annual stop at Sonic for corn dogs.  After that we stopped at the fire station so Beau could see the fire truck.  They were giving out fire hats and he was in little boy heaven!

 We went home and loaded the crock pot in the wagon and headed down to the Drennan's house for dinner and to trick or treat with the neighbors.  Beau loved riding in his wagon!

After we trick or treated and ate dinner we headed over to Nonnie and Poppy's for a little bit.  We were all worn out!  Beau and Nonnie did a little puzzle working to wind down....

Good, good night with good friends.  We missed so many of out "usual" neighborhood friends (Scogins and Townsends) and I had to mourn a little when we walked by their houses, but it was still a great night.  LOVE my neighborhood!!
