Christmas Morning (9 days later...)

I'm definitely not a very punctual blogger, but here is the low down (finally) on our Christmas morning! Blake and Evan left Santa fudge, pralines, banana nut bread, and milk the night before. We ALWAYS leave Santa fudge, and Evan knew he would be SO disappointed if there wasn't any. So, we borrowed some from Nonnie and Poppy. Of course he loved it and left a thank you note for the boys! Here they are in their PJ's with their snack for Santa.
Christmas morning started bright and early at out house! (6:42 to be exact). The boys did actually come wake us up this year BEFORE they looked through their stockings and tried out all the new toys.
They were both very methodical this year looking their their stockings. Some years they just dump it all out, but they both took out one thing at a time this year. This is always my favorite part!!

Evan loved everything! Even the toothpaste that Santa always seems to bring!

The only consistent thing on Evan's list for Santa this year was a sled. Hmm, not the easiest wish for someone living in GREENWOOD, AR. (home of maybe 1 good snow a year). But, of course, Santa pulled through and they both took a pretend run in the living room...Now, please let it snow!
After we throughly tried out the new scooter, remote control helicopter, sleds, and Mario Cart Wii game we headed over to Nonnie and Poppy's to open presents. I don't have many pics (Poppy - please put your pictures in the folder:) But, here is a good one of the craziness in the living room floor!

There are no pics of me, Nonnie, Poppy, Kyle, or Amy, but they were ALL there!!! We had a very fun Christmas morning! Here's a pic of Travis's gift from Nonnie and Poppy...We have become Rock Band junkies!!! Who would have guessed that jamming to Wanted: Dead or Alive could be SO MUCH FUN!

Poor Carly even got in on the festivities. Evan kept decorating her. She would finally get all her ribbons off and Evan would add more!

We have had such a good Christmas break! I just wish Monday weren't coming so soon!

Looks like everyone had fun...I noticed more noise than usual down the hill. Now I know it is that Rock Band stuff. Happy New Year!
