Christmas Eve and Morning!!

We started our Christmas Eve celebrating by going to the Christmas Eve candlelight service at church.  It was so beautiful!!  It was Beau's first trip to church and he did great.  We sat on the back row, just in case, but we never had to get up.  The service was the perfect way to get my mind focused on the real reason for our celebrating.  I was so glad we went.

Then we headed over to Granny's for a family gathering and a Mexican fiesta!!  It was fun and the Mexican food was a nice change from the usual Christmas junk.  We headed home, IN THE SNOW!!!

When we got home it was time for baths and Christmas pajamas.  Here are my 3 precious boys with their cookies and milk/juice set out for Santa.  We left out a little "buffet" of goodys and Evan was pretty sure Santa would want orange juice also this year.

He has been very distressed that he didn't get a chance to give Santa his Christmas list.  Even though he did sit on Santa's lap and tell him in person:)  He was afraid that might not have been enough.  So, he wrote Santa a note and attached it to his stocking.  It says: "Dear Santa,  I am so sorry that I did not get my Christmas list to you. Love, Evan".  Above that is THE Christmas list.  It says: electric scooter, baseballs, camera.

Lots of good stuff.  And yes, that is deodorant in the stockings.  We hope that since it was from Santa they will get excited about actually USING it!!
