Oyster House!

One of our most favorite places to eat at the beach is the Oyster House.  It's a pretty cool location with lots of shoping all arouond.  Good thing, since the wait was 2 1/2 hours!  Thankfully, it didn't take that long.

 The best part about this restaurant, and maybe the best part about this whole trip....the chocolate chip peanut butter pie!!  TO.DIE.FOR.  SO good!!  We always buy a whole one to take home.  They also have amazing key lime pie.  We bought a whole one of those too:)

 After we got back Evan was standing out on the balacony and I took a picture.  He looked at it and said "man, I look good".  Ha! 

 The Oyster House has an awesome gift shop.  I buy myself a little something every year.  This year I found a whole lot of somethings that I wanted.  I decided on a necklace for myself.  Then my mom bought me the earrings to match.  After I left with Beau my boys did some shopping.  They both picked one of the things that I loved to buy for me.  Blake got me the bracelet to match my necklace and earrings and Evan got my the "E" cup.  They are so sweet to me.  It made me cry when they gave them to me.  They both spent their own money on something that I really loved! 

This was a long, but very fun night.  So sad that even though we got 2 whole pies, we still had to fight over the peanut butter pie!!  I think it is the reason that Kyle and Amy come to the beach!!

We had a good time hanging out in the condo, too.  I just can't tell you how good Beau was the whole week.  One time he got a little mischevious:)  He grabbed my dad's Kindle and took off.  I found him in this little corner in our bedroom "reading".

 The day we got there Beau was SO tired.  Dad was worn out also because he had driven all night with Kyle and Amy.  Beau crawled up in his lap and fell asleep.

Lazy Lazy River

Let me just say that this condo was worth.every.penny. just for the lazy river.  It was just SO fun, and SO relaxing.  We all just loved it!  Even Amy could hobble down on her crutches with her foot wrapped in a plastic bag and get in and float.  I want to go back just thinking about it!

 This is a good view of the water slide.  I bet Evan and Beau went down it 200 times each.  Travis and I even took Beau down a few times.  It was fun!

More Beach Fun!!

We had so many good days at the beach....I want to remember them all!!

Beau got brave and decided to go try out the water...

 It was SO cute!  He liked it until a wave came rolling in!

 And that was enough...he stayed away from the water after that.

 Evan loves to skim board.  He worked SO hard.  By the end of the week he was doing pretty good!

 Beau's most favorite part of the beach was the "nacks".  He couldn't stay away from the cooler!  He had something to eat or drink in his hand the whole time:)

Our beach "spot".  The canopy was the best investment ever!!  We left it set up all week, just took the top off at night.  We even left the chairs and toys and everything down on the beach.  It made it SO easy!

 This house was right next to our condo.  We have been eyeing this house for years and years.  We always say we are going to stay there someday.  It's actually looking kinda run-down up close.  It didn't look like it was even being used right now.  Someday...

 Nonnie and her boys!  It was always just the 5 of us and Nonnie at the beach.  Poppy, Kyle, Amy, and Georgia never ventured down at all.  (In Amy's defense, because of her "foot surgery" she wasn't allowed on the beach).

There is just nothing better than playing and relaxing on the beach.  I would go down in the afternoon while Beau was taking a nap and just sit and read and read and read.  SO nice!!!!

A Day at the Beach!

I'm SO determined to get caught up on blogging, so excuse the lateness...

We had some great "beach" days!  I just love to have nothing at all planned, and to know we can spend as much time as we want just "hanging out".  Beau really enjoyed the actual beach.  He did a lot of digging.

It was fun to watch him try to do what the big boys were doing:)

We were all sitting under the canopy and Blake started digging.  He dug up the red chair he is sitting in!  So, Evan started digging, too.  Here he is uncovering another chair:)  It was like a treasure hunt!  They dug up lots of sand toys that day, also.  Fun times!

This was a fun, relaxing, no plans beach day!  Oh, how I wish I was back there right now!!
