Father's Day!

 We had a pretty laid back Father's Day.  Travis and I got back from Little Rock late Sunday afternoon and my parents (who had been keeping the kids) were worn out!  Dad didn't want to go eat or anything.  So, we just gave him his gift and came home.

Later, we decided to go to Geno's for dinner:).  Blake is still at camp, so it was just the 4 of us.  These silly boys tried on daddy's hard hats on the way!

 I love these boys SO much.  Just wish Blake could have been here, too.  We gave Travis a couple of Razorback Tervis tumblers and I think he liked them:). 

Sometime's its nice to just be laid back and relaxed!  Happy Father's Day Travis!

Brian & Amber's Wedding

 Travis and I went to Little Rock this past weekend for Brian & Amber's wedding.  Travis worked with Brian for several years at MAHG and Brian asked him to be his best man.  We headed down Friday afternoon. 

It's fun to check into a hotel for a wedding and have a care package waiting for you;)

 We got ready and headed out to the rehearsal.  (The sun was bright, nice squint:)

 The rehearsal dinner was at the Crown Plaza where we were staying.

The next morning Travis and I slept in, which was heaven, and then headed out for some lunch.  We had a great time just hanging out together.  I love that we both love to eat good food:)  P.F. Changs for lunch was perfect!

 After lunch we headed toward the mall, but I saw a Goodwill store on the way.  My sweet husband wheeled in and went in to shop with me.  I even got him in on the search at one point! I found some great eBay treasures!

 We made it to the mall and did a little shopping.  Travis had to be at the church at 3:30 for pictures, so I dropped him off and headed back to the hotel.  I couldn't resist the TCBY I found on the way back.  You just can't beat White Chocolate Mousse in a waffle cone!!

 Since we weren't together before the wedding, a selfie of myself was the best I could do!

 The wedding was very nice.  Then we headed to the reception at the Pavillion in the Park.  It was SO pretty!  Not sure what I was pointing at??

 I love this!!  We had a great time just talking and dancing at the wedding.

 Afterwards we were starving so we drove through Mexico Chiquito on the way back to the hotel.  Nothing like a taco picnic on the hotel bed:)

 I was so glad we got to get away together.  Makes me realize all over again just how much I love that man of mine!!

Springdale & Softball

 Last Thursday the boys and I decided to head up to Springdale to watch Malory's last softball game.  We had a fun drive...Beau actually let us listen to music and we all sang all the way there;)

 We met Nana, Trisha, Malory, and Austin and went to Mad Pizza for lunch.  Then we decided to check out the new Goodwill across the street.  It was pretty awesome!

 Thanks to Nana for taking the kids home so Trisha and I could shop for a while longer!

 Malory played great!  I really enjoyed getting to see her play.  Her dad and Mimi were there with her little dog named Ginger and Beau fell in love with her:)  These 2 love each other so much!!

Baseball Camp

 Evan went to Greenwood Baseball Camp last week.  He moved up to the older age group this year and went from 11:30-1:30.  He absolutely loved it!!  Lots more individual instruction in the older division for sure!

 On the last day they have different competitions and Evan won Outfield Defensive Champion for ages 11 and under!  He plays outfield so this was a good confirmation that he knows what he is doing and does it well!!

Friendly Therapy:)

 I was having a really rough day one day, and told Sharon I was nearing my breaking point.  I even invited her to come join me in the padded room at Vista.  Instead, she invited Beau and I up for a slumber party:)  Evan was at camp, and I called Nana and asked if Blake could spend the night with her, and we made it work!  Ryan was in Tulsa so it was just Sharon and I, her girls, and Beau.  I have missed Sharon SO bad and we needed some face-to-face time!!

As soon as we got there the kids wanted to swim.  It was freezing and their teeth were chattering, but they swam anyway.

 Since Kelli is living with Sharon and Ryan this summer that equals instant babysitter!!!  So, we ordered pizza for the kids and Sharon and I headed out for dinner.  It was SO nice.  We went to Jose's on Dickson Street and sat outside and listened to music and talked and talked and talked.  

 The next morning Lindsey and Courtney went to basketball camp, and we took Beau and Whit to get donuts.  They love each other so much and play so good together!

 It was raining outside, so they needed something to do inside.  We set them up with the iPads and they were so sweet.  Beau wanted to play Whitney's game, so I got it on our iPad and they played together.

 Later we went to pick up the big girls and to eat lunch.

 We went to this new Mexican place down from Sharon's house and I fell in love with the Razorback Enchiladas:).  It was 2 cheese enchiladas topped with steak fajita meat.  SO good!

 After that we went to get yogurt.  Bet you can't guess which one is Beau's???  Boy doesn't eat enough to keep a bird alive....

 It quit raining so we went swimming one more time before we had to head home.  I thought this was cute....Beau all bundled up in the chair.

It was just the "getaway" I needed.  I came back feeling much less frazzled and so happy that I got to play "catch up" with Sharon!!

Summer Days.....

 Around here lately....Evan moved up to Middle School at church!! WOW!!!  Travis and I decided to continue teaching in Middle School this year so we can experience it with Evan;)  Travis will be teaching Evan's 5th grade boys Life Group and I will be teaching 5th grade girls.

 We had a scrimmage in Greenwood one Sunday afternoon.  Beau was there in his "mowing" boots.  We don't go many places without them these days.

 I got a new phone!!  Woo Hoo!!  I've been holding out, But Best Buy was offering $50 off this month so I decided it was finally time.  So, I upgraded to an iPhone 5.  I'm absolutely in love.  It's SO fast and I just love it!!

So, of course I had to sell my old iPhone 4.  After buying my new phone and a new Otter Box I still made money on the deal!!  That's the way I like it!

 Evan went to middle school church camp at Mt. Vernon, TX.  I was a little nervous sending him off, but he was SO ready.

Blake was at a sleepover, and I texted him on the way to pick him up on Sunday morning.  I just love this...classic Blake.

So, the iPod was broken.  Totally broken.  White screen and that was it.  So, we started the debate of whether or not to get another iPod or just make the move to an iPhone.  Blake has had a cell phone for about 2 1/2 years, but he will never carry it.  He doesn't want to carry his iPod and his phone, which I can understand.  So, we talked it over and decided it would make more sense to just get him an iPhone.  So, I sold his broken iPod on eBay for $75 and got him a new iPhone 4S for $50.  Worked out great!  And now, I can get a hold of him wherever he is.  He carries it with him and that makes me very happy!!

 My sweet friend Rachel that does my hair has been out of pocket for a while.  Her mom is VERY sick and she has been spending all of her time with her mom.  In the meantime, my hair had gotten really BAD!!!  So, she had a chance to get me in the other day and I was thrilled. NO more black roots!!

 We were at Wal-Mart trying to find Blake some flip-flops for camp, and I looked up and saw this.....HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

 Beau woke up one morning and wanted to make binoculars.  They had made some at school, and they had an accident with the vacuum cleaner, so we made some more!

 I got this cool birthday gift from Kyle, Amy, and Georgia....lots of my favorite candy!

 Nonnie and Poppy have done a lot of work in their backyard, including getting a stand for the hammock mom bought in Nicaragua several years ago.  Beau loves to "ride" the hammock!

 Best $2 I've spent at a yard sale in a long time!! He always wants to do the credit card at Wal Mart and now he has his own!!

 The boys were chasing each other and ran in my bathroom and knocked my jewelry hanger/organizer down.  What a mess, but it inspired me to clean out and get organized.

 After I got my new phone, my mom decided she wanted one, too.  So, I sold her old iPhone 4S for her.  There is some serious $$ in old iPhones!!!

 Blake is getting ready for Super Summer church camp and his rec team color is orange.  I think we got him hooked up!!

 And, my naked golfer.  So stinkin' cute!!

Summer is definitely underway!!

Conway Baseball

 After Blake finished his belt test, Travis and the boys picked me up and we headed to Conway.  Nonnie stayed with Blake in Clarksville for his afternoon seminar.  Evan played baseball at 4:00 and 7:30 on Saturday.  Nana and Papa came too, so Beau had lots of entertainment!

 Beau discovered this water fountain during the 2nd game.  It took him about 2 minutes to be soaking wet!

 So, he shed the shirt and went back to playing...

 On Saturday Evan's team won their first game, and played again that afternoon. I caught this as we were walking back into the ball park.  Seriously love.

After a brutal game of several overtime innings, Evan's team got cheated out of the win.  It was heartbreaking to say the least.  Afterwards, the director admitted that if he would have been there, he would have reversed the call on the spot.  So, we left feeling pretty defeated.  But, the boys played amazingly and we were very proud!!!
