Spur of the Moment SDC!!

 

 On Christmas afternoon, Sharon texted Amy, Sherry, and I and said that they were going to Branson the next day and kind of jokingly said, "anybody want to come?".  Well, Sherry and I both were like, why not??  Darin is on crutches from a recent surgery and Travis had to work, so we decided we would just load up some kids and go!!  So, the next morning me, Sherry, Blake, Evan, Beau, Dace, and Dane took off in Sherry's Suburban to Branson.  

 

We had SO much fun!!  When we got to Branson we went straight to SDC.  It wasn't crowded at all and the weather was great.  We let Blake, Evan, and Dane kinda do their own thing.  They had to check in with us after every ride, but they walked around together without us.  Sherry and I took Beau and Dace around and they rode rides together. 

 

It was nice to get to spend a little bit of time with just Beau doing what he wanted to do.

 Later, we met up with the big boys because Dace wanted to ride Powder Keg.  He was SO big and brave!  He was all over the place!  The caterpillars with Beau to Powder Keg with the big boys;)

After we left SDC, we met up with the Scoggins at our hotel at The Landing.  We walked over to Texas Land & Cattle for dinner.  I don't think they were too thrilled with our party of 12 with 8 kids:)

 We all went back to the hotel and let all the kids swim.  We got up the next morning and got ready to go again.  I love this...Beau is putting in "his contacts" just like his brothers.

 Before we left The Landing we had to walk down to Build a Bear.  Beau made his very first bear.  He loved it!  (He ate a blue Laffy Taffy on the way down there....he isn't oxygen deprived).

 They got to give their bears a bath and fix their hair:)

 

 Beau was SO proud!!  He named his bear "Comet" but quickly changed it to "Tigey" to be like Dace (who had picked out a tiger). 

 Then we stopped at the Tanger for a little shopping.  Beau and Dace let their bears "ride the Polo pony" in the Ralph Lauren Outlet:)

 

 We were at SDC when it opened at 1:00.  We met up with the Scogins and spent the afternoon riding lots of rides!!  Beau and Whitney had SO much fun together!!

 I ADORE these girls!!!  We had a blast!!!  We missed Amy:( ,but she had a family Christmas to attend.  Sharon and I were accidental twinkies.  Happens all the time!

 Evan finally got to ride in the front car on Outlaw Run.  He can check that off his bucket list!

 Beau and Blake riding "Hi-Lo Silo".  Beau loves it and Blake is a good sport to do it with him!

We had an awesome trip!  Sometimes the spontaneous ones are the most fun!!
