Zac Brown Band! Woo Hoo!!

We took a little trip to Little Rock a few weeks ago to go to the Zac Brown Band concert with Ryan and Sharon. Actually, it was a Cintas people trip that we just happen to butt our way into:) . We had SO much fun!!!

We got up Saturday morning and headed out. We got to Little Rock in time to eat some yummy lunch (Cantina Laredo) and get a little shopping in. Then we checked into the hotel, changed clothes, and headed out!

We went down to downtown Little Rock and just hung out for a while. Here I am with my sweetie!

We hooked up with the Curry's and the Bayouth's and had an awesome dinner at Bosco's. It was SO fun to hang out with grown ups without kids!!!

Sharon and I were determined to take a picture before the concert, but we had a little trouble. Do you see my weird eye thing going on?? I think I had a little stroke in that eye for a minute;)

The four of us! We had such a great weekend!!! Glad we got this one in before the big move!!

We are already shopping for our next concert!! I'm thinking Brad Paisley and Scotty McCreary sound REALLY good!!!

Lots of Randoms...

Oh my Beau Beau, you are a mess. He discovered his snow boots in the top of his closet one day, and has pretty much insisted on wearing them every day since. Some things just aren't worth the battle, so on this day, off he went to MDO in his snow boots!

Poppy drives a school bus and recently Beau started really noticing the buses on the street when we would pass one. The big boys would always make comment about how that might be Poppy's bus. So, Beau decided he wanted to "ride da bus". So, one day we met dad a he got to sit in his lap and pretend to "drive da bus". It was great!! He talks about it every time we see a school bus.

Beau sits in the top drawer in my bathroom everyday while I get ready. This day he decided to eat his breakfast there also. Made a great table:)

One day we were out playing (notice the snow boots) and Sharon caught this with her phone. TOO funny!!!

Another day Beau decided to wear daddy's boots. Nice!!!

He begs for me to take his picture anytime I have the camera out. This was one of those times. Cutie pie!

Fun random stuff!!

Good Times with Good Friends

I found some random pictures on my phone that needed to be shared:) We went out on a date one night with Ryan and Sharon. (We squeezed in several months worth of dates in a few weeks before they left). We went to Bravo for dinner. It was SO good. There is this filet stuffed with cheese that Sharon always raves about. I finally tried it , and yes, it was that good!!!!

One Sunday afternoon Sharon, Sherry, and I made a quick run to Ft. Smith. We made a little detour for a much needed pedi!! Oh my, I have never experienced the foot rubbing I got that day. My feet are SO ticklish and I could not stop laughing. It was a little embarrassing! I thought I might have to start Lamaze breathing to get through it:)

Beau and Whit

I'm not sure if I can write this post without crying. I think this is one of the main reasons I'm so behind on blogging. I knew I would eventually have to post these pics. The last pics of Beau and Whit being best friends. Not that they won't be friends anymore, but it will never be quite the same. Ok, the tears are rolling now.

Watching them grow up together to this point has been so fun and so special. As a side note, let me just say...don't ever take your friendships for granted. You just never know when change is coming. I will always treasure the memories I have of Sharon and I raising our babies together. There is just nothing like a best friend who is also a neighbor. It's just so much fun to be able to be right there all the time. Lots of things I wish I had appreciated more while they were happening...

Anway, not to get to depressing or anything...here are these sweet friends just doing what seems natural:) Whitney is cheering Beau on while he tries to go potty. He wants to be like her, but not quite bad enough to quite peeing in his diaper:)

Another day when Sharon was watching Beau (another thing I took WAY for granted), she found them doing this. A vision of the future in 20 years??? I hope so!!!

I SO hope they don't forget each other:) They have talked on the phone and face timed several times since they moved. Beau asks where Whitney is every morning and every time we drive past their house. Geez, this is so hard. Why do things have to change???

MOPS Playdate

I am SO behind. We had a MOPS playdate at the mall on February 15. It was SO fun. I love this group of girls and am so thankful for all of their friendships. I have made so many new friends and love having a place to connect with other moms.

We had a good turnout. We pretty much took over the play area:)

These three kiddos just make me smile. And of course, will the whole play area to run and play, what do they want to do? Play on mommy's iPhone. Sometimes I despise technology:)

Our HUGE Garage Sale!!!

We had our semi-annual Pre-Growing Kids Sale / Garage Sale the weekend of February 24-25. It was HUGE and so fun!! There were 7 families involved (plus my parents), which totalled 22 kids between us!! That makes for a LOT of kids clothes and stuff.

We did amazing!! Our Thursday night "Facebook Friends & Family" sale was a HUGE success. We sold SO much stuff!!! Our total sales over the 3 days was over $2700!!! Wow!!

Beau came out and hung out with us for a while on Friday morning before Poppy came and rescued him:)

Some of the girls. Someone mentioned that they wished they had some "texting" gloves. I just happened to have several pairs inside that I was selling on eBay. So, I brought them out and all the girls bought a pair:) Ha!! Missing from this pic are me, Sharon, and Tamara. In the pic...Dottie, Sherry, Katie, and Julie.

I sold my kitchen table and chairs. In the process of getting it out of the house, I turned it on its side and found a little artwork underneath:) Apparently, several years ago Evan had done a LOT of drawing underneath the table:)

This sale is always a lot of work, but a lot of fun! I was able to take my garage sale money and buy a new kitchen table and chairs. They were delivered yesterday and I'm SO happy! We can finally seat 8 without having to cram!

Girls - can't wait for our fall sale!! Bigger and Better!!!

Georgia Leigh's 1st Birthday!!

Miss Georgia Leigh turned 1 on February 16th! I can't believe it's been a whole year since she was born:) She had a fun party perfect for a 1 year old.
