Black Belt Blake!!!

Blake took his first black belt test 1 year ago.  To actually wear the black belt, you have to train for another year, then re-take the test, and then if you pass, you receive the black belt.  Saturday was Blake's day!!

We went to Clarksville for the testing and seminar.  He did SO good!!  He and Dr. Lane were the only 2 people there testing for the 2nd time.  And...they both passed!

I don't know if I've ever been so proud of Blake and his dedication and hard work.  He has been going to class twice a week for 2 hours each time all year working for this.  He never once complained or said he didn't want to go.  When Blake sets his mind to something, he is going to do it!  He makes me very, very proud!!  And, it's nice knowing you have a black belt with you for protection, too:).
