Headed home-
We would spend Friday headed back to Guatemala City with a stop in Antigua and then head back to Arkansas on Saturday.
We started the day with a devotional from Michael Dover on sacrifice. We had corn flakes and bananas for breakfast. We were on the road for Antigua by 8a. We would shop and have lunch there. We also visited the cross above Antigua before heading back to the Arkansas House for the night. We had pizza and called it a night - a long day traveling home tomorrow was ahead of us.
Erin & Diana - she was one of our awesome translators for the week.
Antigua.
McDonalds in Antigua.
The cross above Antigua...with a volcano in the background.
Tony was awesome - the white bus was the ride to be in.
We were up around 8a on Saturday. We said goodbye to everyone.
We had a great week. We were dropped off at the airport around 10a. We all checked in, made it through security without any issues. We waited for Mcd's to switch over to a lunch menu and had lunch before boarding the plane for Atlanta. We arrived in Atlanta around 5:30. After going through the customs/immigration process and back through security, we found a spot to hang out and eat before heading back to Fort Smith. After a couple of hours we boarded and made it back to Fort Smith around 9:30. Nonnie, Poppy and the boys were all there to greet us and shuttle us home - we were worn out and so thankful to be home with our family.
