We knew the 1st day was going to be exhausting, so we had planned our Fast Passes to be able to sleep in a little on Epcot Day! We got to the park mid-morning.
This is my favorite pic from the whole trip!!
We went straight for the "big golf ball" and rode Spaceship Earth. Beau really loved it! Then we headed for our first Fast Pass...Soarin'. I think it was my favorite ride of the whole week!! It is just like you are hang gliding all over California. The breeze is blowing and you even smell things. When you fly over the orange groves you smell orange. It was SO cool!
We had reservations to eat lunch at Via Napoli in Italy. It was excellent! Walking through the "world" part of Epcot was SO stinkin' hot! We couldn't even really enjoy it because we were burning up. So, getting to this restaurant was a huge relief. The big boys and I shared a pizza that was SO good! Everyone else had pasta. Totally enjoyed this meal!!
Blake & I chowing down!!!
Look! It's Blake in Germany!!!
These silly boys showing off their skills in Mexico??
Next, we headed for Test Track. The line was over an hour wait, but there is a single rider line. Beau obviously, couldn't do single rider, so Nonnie and Poppy took him to ride the Nemo ride while the rest of us rode Test Track. We got on in about 15 minutes. And we even ended up all on the same ride! It worked out great and we LOVED it!! The boys begged to ride it again!!
And they loved all the cars on display, too! Blake's dream Camaro!!
Beau in the shark's mouth:)
Next we decided to ride Mission:Space. Travis and I and Blake & Evan rode the "Orange" Mission which is super intense. Probably a mistake. We were all a little queasy after.
Nonnie and Poppy trying to cool off! It was a HOT day!!
After it cooled off a little, we decided to make another lap around the other side of the World Showcase. Poppy opted to chill out on a bench. We had to pose in front of the Eiffel Tower!
We came across an amazing acrobatic show in China. Blake was the best big brother and help Beau up so he could see!
And then we headed out! LOVE this view!!
Hollywood Studios tomorrow!!
