Easter Eggs...

We had our annual Easter Egg dying fun on Friday afternoon.  My boys just LOVE dying eggs.  Evan had been talking about it for days.  Here they are all spread out on the bar.  Nonnie always comes over to help.  It's a good thing, becuase I loose my patience really fast with Easter egg dye!!

Beau watched the whole production from the safety of his Bumbo!!

Our Easter eggs are works of art!  No just dipping eggs in dye for us.  It's a production!!

Boys in their PJ's ready for bed.  Actually, they weren't ready for bed, but they had to take the pic with Beau before he went to bed :)

Later that evening we made resurrection cookies.  This was our first time to make them and they boys really enjoyed it.  They took turns reading the verses as we added ingredients.  Then we put them in the oven for the night, and sealed the oven with tape. (Just like the tomb was sealed).  I think it really got their minds on the crucifixtion and resurrection instead of the Easter Bunny!
