Evan Lee

Evan's baseball team is making me CRAZY!!  Every game so far, has ended up being a nail biter.  They always pull it out in the end, but it is KILLER watching it unfold!!

Last week he had a great game!!  It was yucky and rainy and they started out pretty bad.  The first inning was painful, but then they started their come back.  They had a 20 minute lightning delay mid-game and the mascot from the Naturals showed up.  The boys were in the dug out and the kinda went crazy! 

 By the middle of the lst inning they had pulled ahead 5-4.  The other team batted and had 2 outs with the bases loaded.  The batter came up and hit a crazy good hit out to the outfield.  It was that moment when you realize you are probably gonna lose:(.  The ball went WAY out towards Ev in the outfield.  He backed up and reached up and CAUGHT IT!!!!  Such a great play!!    That play ended the game it he was SO excited!!!  I was really proud of him and glad he had "a moment".  Lots of fun!!

Evan is also doing SO good at school.  He has developed a real love for reading and his reading scores are proving it!!  Again, so proud of him!!

 Yesterday afternoon Travis had to go to the office to work for a while.  Evan begged to go with him.  He just LOVES to go "work" at Travis's office.  He came home with a model he made all himself. 

 He also drew some house plans.  My little architect in training:)

Evan makes me so proud.  He is becoming much more responsible and mature and I LOVE it!!!
