Tubes for Beau!

Beau finally got tubes put in his ears Monday morning!!  Thank goodness.  After 9 ear infections in 6 months we were SO ready to try anything!

We had to be at the hospital at 6:00 Monday morning, so the big boys spent the night with my dad.  (My mom is out of town this week.)  NaNa met us at the hospital.  Beau was all fired up and ready to be up so early!

They gave him his "goofy juice" and he was pretty goofy.  Never slowed down a bit, just got pretty silly.  I'm telling you, nothing slows him down...NOTHING!

The actual procedure took all of about 10 minutes.  We went back to see him and he was pretty groggy.

After sucking down 2 sippy cups full of apple juice in about 5 minutes we were good to go!  Crazy, that we were there for only about 2 1/2 hours...

We got home and thought he would crash for sure.  He couldn't even stand up he was still so drugged.  But, he NEVER, ever took a nap.  He fell asleep for a few minutes while NaNa rocked him, but his eyes popped right back open when she tried to lay him down.  So, we had a pretty cranky afternoon, but today he seems to be back to his old self!  I'm thankful to have it over with, and am praying for no more ear infections!!
